Does the AI make decisions about my officers?
No. The AI reads paperwork, drafts records, and suggests fixes. Humans confirm everything before it is saved. It never marks anyone non-compliant on its own, and it never touches promotion, assignment, or discipline.
What if the AI reads a roster wrong?
It shows you exactly what it read, with its confidence on every match. Anything unclear is flagged for a human decision — it is never guessed. And the original roster photo is kept forever, so there is always a source document to check against.
Is this a CJIS system?
No. Training records are personnel data, not criminal justice data. SkyBadge does not connect to CJIS systems and does not accept criminal-case data.
What about our union and officer privacy?
Officers see their own records and nobody else's — enforced in the database, not just the interface. And when coaching features launch in the future, coaching data will never feed discipline; that commitment goes in the contract, not just the marketing.
How long is setup?
One afternoon. You send us your officer list and course catalog in one spreadsheet, we set everything up, and your coordinator snaps the first roster photo. Nothing to install.
Our records are all on paper. Can we still use SkyBadge?
Yes — that is exactly what SkyBadge is built for. Photograph the binder, page by page, and SkyBadge reads each sign-in sheet, shows your coordinator what it read, and files the records once they confirm. No retyping, no data-entry project, no scanning service. Spreadsheet, Excel, and PDF exports from an old system import the same way: SkyBadge proposes how the columns line up, and a person confirms before anything is saved. SkyBadge never connects to your old system — it reads the files you export from it, so there is nothing to integrate and no access to grant.
Are there any fees not shown?
No. No setup, per-seat, support, training, import, or exit fees — if a number isn't on the pricing page, you will never be charged it.
What happens if we cancel?
You get a complete export of your data in standard formats, and then written confirmation that your data has been deleted. Month-to-month means cancel anytime.
What if SkyBadge the company disappears?
Your data is exportable at all times in standard formats — you are never locked in. You could take your export to a spreadsheet tomorrow and lose nothing.
Who sees our data?
Your agency, under role-based access. For support, the founder — and every support access is logged in the same audit trail as everything else.
